She was predeceased by: her parents, Vincenzo and Filomena Mercadante (Menna); and her brothers, James Mercadante (Rosie) and Roland Mercadante. She is survived by: her son Richard (Paula Tonelli) of Simsbury; her sister Alberta "Betty" (Edward Gutowski) of Agawam; her granddaughter Cara Hugabonne (Jeffrey) of Simsbury; her great grandchildren, Mira Hugabonne and Luke Hugabonne; and her friend Mary Ann Costa. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Friday, December 20th 2024 from 9:00 AM to 10:30 AM at the Agawam Curran Jones Funeral Home (745 Cooper St, Agawam, MA 01001). A funeral service was held on Friday, December 20th 2024 at 10:30 AM at the same location.
