With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Alma Mushrush of Agawam, Massachusetts, born in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, who passed away on August 8, 2024 at the age of 87. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
In the soft embrace of remembrance, we recall the profound impact Alma had on those she encountered along her journey. Though Alma may have slipped beyond the veil of mortality, her essence lingers like a faint fragrance in the air, a lingering reminder of the beauty and complexity of the human experience.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Edith V. Scott (Blake) and Charles Scott; her husband Dale; her daughter Cheryl Courtney; and her siblings, Colonel Charles Scott of Jonesboro, Mary Scott of Erie and Edith Stafford.
She is survived by: her daughters, Kimberly (Robert Hurley), Alice (James Couture) and Suellen (John Mrzyglod); and also James Courtney of Springfield. She is also survived by nine grandchildren, seventeen great-grandchildren and one great-great grandchild.
