He was predeceased by: his parents, Arthur Lewis and Beverly Lewis (Pettibone); and his brother William Lewis. He is survived by: his wife Cheryl A. Pierce; his children, Steven E. Lewis Jr. of Becket, Tonia Lewis-Whitney of Adams, Kimberly Briggs of Adams, Stephanie Sumner of North Adams and Christina Tetreault of Cheshire; and his siblings, Arthur Lewis, Jr. of Hinsdale, Paul Lewis of Hinsdale, Kevin Lewis of Cheshire, David Lewis of Sheffield, Laurel Burgwardt of Becket and Karen Civello of Southwick, MA. He is also survived by 16 Grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
