It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Shanda Dee Lafave-Modena of Adams, Massachusetts, born in Saratoga Springs, New York, who passed away on August 3, 2024, at the age of 52, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Donald A. Lafave and Barbara Carole Freeman Lafave (Dobbert); and also, Barbara Milvae, Raymond Edward Poulen, Walter Louis Freeman Jr. and William Joseph Freeman.
She is survived by: her husband Robert Carlo Modena; her children, Timothy R. Lafave of Adams, Samantha S. Joder of Cambridge, MA and Jennie B. Modena-Haring of Adams; her grandchildren, Memphis, Ezekiel, Dallas and Damien; and her siblings, Sherry Sharpe, Colleen LaFrance, Kimberly Freeman, Torri Wohlers, Holly Richard and Chester Poulen. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
