He was predeceased by: his parents, Ronald Mitchell and Ruth Mitchell (Bates). He is survived by: his wife Ruth L. Sherwood; his children, Ronald A. Mitchell, III (LaJohnna) of Nashville, TN and Nancy Appel (Jon) of Chattanooga, TN; his brother John Mitchell of Delray Beach, FL; his grandchildren, Ronald "Alex" Mitchell, IV, Allison Mitchell and Austin Childers; and his great grandchildren, Laurel Childers, Linden Childers and Leon Mitchell. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
A funeral service was held on Friday, April 25th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Paciorek Funeral Home (13 Hoosac St, Adams, MA 01220).
