He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Casimer J. Armata and Gladys V. Armata (Ramocki); his friends, Coakley, Pierpan and Dolan; his sons, Thomas (Anne) and Mitchell (Christine); his stepgrandchildren, Kelsey Knobel (Ben), Cali and Drew Romaniak; his brother Thomas A. Armata; and his sister-in-law Mary Armata. He was also cherished by many nieces, nephews and friends.
