He was predeceased by: his parent Frank Alibozek; and his siblings, John Alibozek, Ned Alibozek, Chester Alibozek, William Alibozek, James Alibozek, Leon Alibozek, Fred Alibozek, Edward Alibozek, Mildred Zieba, Laura Winarski, Wanda Ostrobinski and Jenny Taikowski.

He is survived by: his parent Aniela Alibozek (Struzik); his wife Theresa H. Krzanik; his children, Susan King (Peter) of Cheshire, Joan Kleiner (Craig) of Cheshire and Joseph Alibozek, Jr.; his significant other Debbie DiGirolamo of Cheshire; his grandchildren, Christopher DeGrenier, Jennifer McGrath-DeGrenier, Bryan, Benjamin and Cameron Alibozek; and also John Alibozek (Brenda) of Adams. He is also survived by six great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.
