Hamilton of Adams, Massachusetts, born in North Adams, Massachusetts, who passed away on October 15, 2022, at the age of 90, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Anna May Hamilton (Geiger) and Joseph Patrick Hamilton; her husband Fred Rabe; her son Martin; her niece Gloria Kennedy (Brian) of North Adams; her great-niece Tammy Pellerin; her daughter Taunie Arnold of North Adams; her great-nephews, Bill Pellerin Jr. (Val) and John Pellerin (Tara Condron); her nephew Anthony Martin Corsi of North Adams; her sisters, Mary Francis Corsi (Hamilton) and It's; and also, Will of Adams, Noah of Adams, Linda Corsi (Pierce), Andrew Martin Corsi, Laura Beth Corsi of North Adams and Gloria Hamilton.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests support of the local arts in Joan's memory through donations to the Adams Theater Revitalization project – a mission that would have been close to Joan's heart, as she worked behind the theatre's candy counter while in high school.
