He was predeceased by: his parents, Carleton Bechard and Eleanor Bechard (Priori); and his sister Karen Hvizda. He is survived by: his close friend Charlene Brassard of Cheshire; his daughter Tamara Menard (Joseph) of Glendale, AZ; his granddaughter Cheyenne Menard; and his brother Dennis Bechard (Theresa) of Westfield. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorial donations be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105.
