He was predeceased by: his parents, Arthur LaFleur and Marie LaFleur (White); his children, Allyn F. Basel (Peter) and Richard S. LaFleur, Sr.; and his brothers, Norman (Alexcina), Alan (Janet) and Archie LaFleur.
He is survived by: his wife Shirley A. Shaw; his children, Daniel L. LaFleur, Jr. (Joni) of Winchester, TN and Haley A. Meczywor (Frederick) of Adams; his daughter-in-law Lorene LaFleur of Millersville, MD; his grandchildren, Jay Meczywor (Jessica Salvini), Stephanie Brumley, Thomas Meczywor, Richard LaFleur, Jr. (Elizabeth) and Justin LaFleur (Diana); his great grandchildren, Haven, Jaeden Brumley, Jackson and Richard III LaFleur (Tripp); his sister-in-law Marlene Gazaille; and his adoptive father Rob (Sue Pilon). He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
