She was predeceased by: her parent Joseph Pigeon; and her sisters, Irene Ames and Rachel Wright. She is survived by: her parent Josephine Pinsonneault Pigeon; her husband Richard Carpenter; and her children, Chad Carpenter (Heather) of Adams, Richard Carpenter Jr. of Adams, Wesley Carpenter (Linda) of Burke, VA. and Kelley Lesnick (John) of Adams.

Donations in her memory can be made to Hospice Care of the Berkshires in care of the funeral home.
