He was predeceased by: his parents, Benjamin Hurd and Dorothy Hurd of Adams; and his sister Betty. He is survived by: his wife Laraine; and his children, Katherine Rogers (James), William Hurd, Elizabeth Hurd, Jennifer Hurd, Nicole Double (Bill) and Michele Gorman-Robertson (Andrew). He is also survived by nine grandchildren, six great grandchildren, and a niece and nephew.
