It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Thomas J. Dakin of Acushnet, Massachusetts, born in New Bedford, Massachusetts, who passed away on July 28, 2023, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, John T. Dakin and Nancy J. Dakin (Oliver). He is survived by: his wife Amanda L. (Tucker); his children, Tenley Grace Dakin and Sean Thomas Dakin of Acushnet; his brother Robert J. Dakin (Linda) of Fairhaven; and his father-in-law William J. Tucker, Jr. (Tom).
