She is survived by: her husband John F. Alves, Jr.; her brother Americo Gonsalves of New Bedford; her children, Joan Boucher (Paul Boucher) of Acushnet, Louise Bertoldo of Acushnet, Dr Gary Alves (Vidalia Alves) of Dighton, Judy Gonsalves of Lakeville, Deborah West (Glen West) of New Bedford and Leonard Alves (Carol Wood) of Westport; and her grandchildren, Dr. Michael Boucher, Christopher Boucher, Greg Bertoldo, Karen Davignon, Garrett Alves, Keaneau Alves, Kimberly Gonsalves, Lisa Bell, Jay West, Ryan West, Alyssa Dube and Taylor Leigh Alves.
