She was predeceased by: her parents, Joe Lofthouse and Emily Lofthouse (Holgate); and her brother Robert Lofthouse. She is survived by: her husband Arnold "Murphy" Furtado; her children, Jeffrey A. Furtado of Dartmouth, Kevin A. Furtado (Cheryl) of Acushnet and Dr. Cathleen M. Burns (Michael) of Acushnet; her grandchildren, Kaitlyn Furtado, Haley Furtado, Michael Burns and Nicole Vaz; her great grandchildren, Mikenzie Perry, Avery Vaz, Alexis Green, Shea Burns and Dylan Burns; and her siblings, Samuel Lofthouse, Rachel Atwood and June Costa.
