Carol A. (Reilly) Querido Obituary
Carol A. (Reilly) Querido, 72, of Acushnet, passed away peacefully at home Wednesday, June 26, 2019. She was the former wife of Daniel S. Querido, Sr. of Florida. Born in Acushnet, daughter of the late Jeremiah J. and Eileen A. (Sullivan) Reilly, she grew up in New Bedford and lived in Acushnet for many years. Carol had worked over 30 years at the former Kristen Beth Nursing Home in New Bedford and later at Our Lady's Haven in Fairhaven until her retirement.
She was an avid New England sports teams fan, enjoyed camping and fishing, a cold beer and especially enjoyed family gatherings and her cat Pumpkin. She is survived by her daughter, Lisa Querido and her wife Debbie Campbell of Achusnet; her former husband; dear friends, Chris Ingham, Donna Rebhan, Shelley Mello, Claire Audette and Patrick and Rosemary Pauline; she was the sister of the late Elizabeth A. DaCosta and is also survived by her nephews, Michael, Larry, Eddie, David, Daren and the late Eric.
Private services will be held at a later date.
