He was predeceased by: his parents, Manuel Medeiros Lima and Ermelinda C. Lima (Cordeiro); and his siblings, Maria Lucia Aguiar of Acushnet, Carmo and Silva.

He is survived by: his wife Ana P. Lima (Aguiar) of Acushnet; his children, Kevin Lima (Karen) of Acushnet, Kelly Medeiros (Peter) of Dartmouth and Sierra Aguiar-Lima (Ted Kaczynski) of Acushnet; his siblings, Francisco Lima of New Bedford, João of Deus Lima and Maria Sara Viveiros of New Bedford; and his grandchildren, Chloe Medeiros, Logan Freitas, Elijah Lima, Isabella Medeiros, Delilah Lima and Reina Kaczynski.

Visitation was held on Sunday, April 27th 2025 from 3:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Aubertine-Lopes Funeral Home & Cremation (129 Allen St, New Bedford, MA 02740). A funeral service was held on Monday, April 28th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Our Lady of Mount Carmel Church (230 Bonney St, New Bedford, MA 02744).
