He was predeceased by: his parents, William "Nick" Lyons and Mary Lyons; and his brother William Jr.. He is survived by: his children, Richard Lyons II (Melanie) of Concord, MA, Kimberlee Garver (Michael) of Canastota, NY, Scott Lyons (Nuria) of Woburn, MA and Randall Lyons (Carolyn) of Foxboro, MA.; his grandchildren, Grace, Katherine, Robert Garver, Sarah, Richie, Grady and Scarlett; his siblings, Mary Kane, James, Edward, John (Jackie) and Michael; and his daughter Joyce Lyons of Maynard, MA.. He is also survived by his nieces, nephews.
