We are sad to announce that on November 2, 2022, at the age of 83, Mildred E. (Ayer) Gifford of Acton, Massachusetts, born in Haverhill, Massachusetts passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her husband Weston Briggs Gifford Jr.; her parents, William E. Ayer and Anna Ayer (Rowe); and her siblings, William Ayer, Jr., Lucille Dumont and Phyllis Swanson.

She is survived by: her sons, John Weston Gifford of Acton, MA and Joseph David Gifford (Kathy) of Marlborough, MA; and her grandchildren, John Gifford Jr., Michael Gifford, Ian Gifford and Reese Gifford.
