James Cavender Fraser Obituary

It is with great sadness that we announce the death of James Cavender Fraser of Acton, Massachusetts, who passed away on January 16, 2025, leaving to mourn family and friends. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of James Cavender Fraser to pay them a last tribute.

He was predeceased by: his wife Diana Kathryn Fraser. He is survived by: his brother Howard Gregory Fraser; his daughter Vanessa; his son-in-law Oleg Volinsky; his son Neil Fraser; and his grandchildren, Zachary and Sarah Volinsky. He is also survived by many extended family members and dear friends.

Visitation was held on Saturday, January 25th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Presbyterian Church (330 Concord Rd, Sudbury, MA 01776). A funeral service was held on Saturday, January 25th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location. A reception was held on Saturday, January 25th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the Pcis Fellowship Hall. In the final months of his life, the advanced stages of dementia gently slowed his body, and a battle with COVID-19 in January further weakened his health.
