It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Gertrude E. (Erkkinen) Hyden of Acton, Massachusetts, born in Stow, Massachusetts, who passed away on September 11, 2022, at the age of 97, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her husband Tayno V. Hyden; and her parents, John Jacob and Alma Helena Erkkinen (Hanninen). She is survived by: her granddaughters, Danielle Hyden (Ryan Whitcomb) of Ayer, MA and Mandy Hyden (Dylan Burrows) of Maynard, MA; her daughter-in-law Frances Hyden of Stow, MA; her son Tayno V. Hyden Jr.; her grandson Tayno V. Hyden III; her siblings, Paavo (Vieno "Betty"), Toivo, Ahti Erkkinen and Bertha Bulli; and her stepfather Matti Erkkinen. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews and friends.
