He was predeceased by: his wife Jean Ann Roy (Wohler); and his siblings, Richard Roy, Eleanor Blair, Norman Roy, Ken Roy and Bob Roy.

He is survived by: his sons, Francis E. "Skip" Roy, Jr. (Linda) of Shirley, Michael G. Roy (Nancy) of Upton and David C. Roy (Wendy) of Acton; and his grandchildren, Christopher, Timothy, Bethany, Adam, Justin, Josh, Jeremy, Heather, Laura and Heidi. He is also survived by 17 great grandchildren and 2 great - great grandchildren.
