He was predeceased by: his parents, Ralph M. Johnson and Doris J. Boyd; his stepmother Esther W. Pfuntner; and his siblings, Loretta J. Berger, Sigrid J. Wilkinson and Ralph M. Johnson, Jr..
He is survived by: his wife Denise E. Johnson; his former wife Susan M. Johnson; his children, Adam G. Johnson (Julia V. Prokesova) and Jenna L. Johnson (Daniel A. Fonseca); and his stepdaughter Camilla R. Rohr (Adam M. Rohr). He is also survived by his nieces and nephews.
