He was predeceased by: his parents, Donald Sloan and Agnes Sloan (Mullen); and his close friend Martha Smith of Acton. He is survived by: his sons, Donald Sloan (Beth), Michael Sloan of Geneva, IL, Timothy Sloan of San Diego, CA and John Sloan (Nancy); his grandchildren, Patrick Sloan, Jennifer O'Brien (Brendan) and Andrew Sloan; his great grandchild Bennett O'Brien; his siblings, Peter Sloan (Sally) of Ayer and Ann Taylor (Thomas) of Rochester, NY; his cousin Janice Larkins of Acton; and also Dean Smith. He is also survived by several cousins, nieces and nephews.
