He is survived by: his wife Eleni Kakaliou; his children, Stelios Papoutsakis and Eleni Papoutsakis; his mother Litsa Papoutsaki; his sister Dimitra Papoutsaki (Nikos Skoufos); his niece Nefeli Skoufou; his parents-in-law, Eleni Kakaliou and Vasilis Kakalios; his brother-in-law Stergios Kakalios (Pavlina Ouzouni); and his niece Eva Kakaliou.
