He was predeceased by: his father Kenneth. He is survived by: his wife Nancy Bates (Shoughrow); his children, Kenneth Bates (Rosa-Mai) and Meredith Morgan (Shaun); his niece Nancy Shoughrow; his great-nephew Robert Arrowsmith Jr. (Angela); and his grandchildren, Brendan Morgan, Natalie Bates, Rory Morgan, Alex Bates, Robert Arrowsmith III, Shelby Arrowsmith and Hunter Arrowsmith.
Visitation was held on Friday, February 21st 2025 from 3:30 PM to 6:00 PM at the Magoun-Biggins Funeral Home (135 Union St, Rockland, MA 02370).
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to the Alzheimer's Association.
