He was predeceased by: his parents, Billy Szyp and Bernice Szyp (Williams). He is survived by: his wife Jannette Szyp (Malave) of Brockton; his children, Oscar Lozada of Brockton, Timothy Szyp of Brockton and Ana Yera of Abington; and his siblings, Robert Szyp of Brockton, Linda Rodriguez of Boston and Susan Szyp of Raynham. He is also survived by 10 grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.
