She was predeceased by: her parents, John J. Comer and Catherine Comer (Mullen); her husband Paul A. Gemmel, Sr.; and her sibling Thomas Comer (late Joan). She is survived by: her children, Beverly Boughter (Ken) of Rockland, Paul A. Gemmel, Jr. (Nancy) of Abington and James M. Gemmel of Abington; her siblings, Mary "Terry" Pecevich (late Walter) of Quincy, John "Jake" Comer (late Eileen) of Quincy, William Comer (late Margaret) of Pembroke, Patricia Comer (Terry Lee Swarts) of Guilford, CT and James Comer (Barbara) of Hanover; and her grandchildren, Danielle Leary (Robert), Derek, Ryan, Katelyn and Marissa. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
