He was loved and cherished by many people including: his brother Franny (Shirley); his mother-in-law Angela; his wife Joan Robbins (Holt); and his children, Albert Robbins, Jr. (Tracy) of Brockton, Joseph Robbins (Julie) of Weymouth, Annmarie Moon (Derek) of Brockton and Charles Robbins (Kerry) of Brockton.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in his name to the American Heart Association, 300 5th Ave, Waltham, MA 02451.
