He was predeceased by: his parents, Johnny Walker and Tulsa Lee Walker (Barrum); his sister JoAnn; and his brother-in-law Jack Murphy. He is survived by: his wife Freda Gayle Walker; his sister Tulsa Lee Morien (Grady); his children, Gayla Smith (Artie) and John Walker IV (Jessica); and his grandchildren, Reanan, Aundrea, Artie III of Anthony, JW, Justin, Jordon, Jaimee, Joseph and Jared. He is also survived by many great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and great nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, the family has requested donations be made to the American Cancer Society or to the Wounded Warrior Project in Mike's name.
