He was predeceased by: his parents, Johnnie Carheel and Laura Samuel; and his siblings, Tommy Carheel, Theo Carheel, David Carheel and Johnnie Maxie.
He is survived by: his wife Bettina Carheel of Noble, LA; his children, Dennis Carheel of Noble, LA, Gary Carheel, Jr., Cassandra of Zwolle, LA and Felicia Marks of Zwolle, LA; his siblings, Johnnie Carheel of San Diego, CA, Gladys Brazzle of DeRidder, LA, Ruby Conaway of Goochland, VA, Jacklyn Wesson of Arlington, TX and Theresa Crutchfield of Bethany, LA; and also Cardetrick of Zwolle, LA. He is also survived by eight grandchildren, two great grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, family and friends.
