She was predeceased by: her parents, Alvin Stanford and Lessie Miller Stanford; her husband Jimmy Rivers; her siblings, John MacAllen Standford Sr., Patrick Stanford, Issaac Stanford and Bertha Stanford; her granddaughter Kelly Holder; her son-in-law Mitchell Parker; and her son Jimbo Rivers.

She is survived by: her children, Jason Rivers of Baton Rouge, Dustin Manuel of Portland, OR, Paula Parker, Mona (Donnie McGregor), Tammy (Mike Robin), Joy (Shannon Douglas), Arlene Rivers of Baton Rouge, Samantha (Matt Slay) and Patty Jo Manuel of Baton Rouge.
