He was predeceased by: his parents, Elzado Rivers (Sepulvado) and Robert Odis Rivers; his daughter Sonya Ann Rivers; his grandson Logan Brant; his brother Terry "Cheese" Rivers; and his brothers-in-law, Billy Ray Ezernack and Charles Rudolph Ezernack.
He is survived by: his wife Wanda Jeter Rivers of Zwolle, LA; his children, Alisa Craig (Cleve), Amy Rivers, Chris Sepulvado, Shane Rivers, April Rivers (Chris Adair), Angela Sepulvado (Steven) and Amelia Morgan (Michael); his grandchildren, Damon Craig (Jennifer Ninh), Dayton Craig, Mary Craig, Meghan Meshell (Steven), Raygan Sepulvado, Ben Remedies, Dominic Sepulvado, Brenten Rivers, Shaelyn Rivers, Kody Franklin, Erin Rivers, Dallas Britt (Kiley Cloud), Riley Britt, Charlea Britt, Grantley Sepulvado, Brynley Sepulvado, Auldyn Sepulvado, Maci Morgan, Kayli Morgan and Hadli Morgan; his great grandchildren, MaKayden, Delaney, Sophie, Sadie-Mae, Luke Meshell, Karley, Langston Sepulvado, Bentley Remedies and Carter Craig; and his siblings, Bobbie Ezernack, Kay Ezernack, Brenda Carter (Doug), Janice Lewis (Randy), Gloria Carrier (Mike), Howard Rivers, Larry Rivers (Sandra), Joe Rivers (Shirley), Roger Rivers and Timothy Dean Rivers (Darlene).
