It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Willie Collier Smith (Zachary, Louisiana), who passed away on February 23, 2025, at the age of 96, leaving to mourn family and friends. In the vast expanse of eternity, Willie shall find rest, cradled in the arms of everlasting peace. And as we bid Willie farewell, her loved ones carry with them the precious gift of her memory, a beacon of hope guiding them through the shadows of sorrow towards the light of a new dawn.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Charlie Collier and Winnie Collier; and her husband Kenneth Smith of Baywood, Louisiana.. She is also survived by father & mother, along with her 7 other siblings, her son, her daughter and spouse, 4 grandchildren and their spouses, & 6 great grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Friday, February 28th 2025 at 10:00 AM and from 10:00 PM to 11:00 PM. A funeral service will be held on Friday, February 28th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Bethany Baptist Church of Baywood (38313 Greenwell Springs Rd, Clinton, LA 70722).
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Bethany Baptist Church of Baywood, where she was a lifetime member.
