He was predeceased by: his wife Charlene Peairs; his son Stephen R. Peairs; his parents, Stephen Preston Peairs, Sr. and Naomi Peairs; and his brother Robert Ike Peairs.
He is survived by: his children-in-law, Michelle Peairs Hebert (Allen) of White Castle, Roger V., Sandy Peairs of Central, Ricky P., Lisa Peairs of Ethel and Rodney D. Peairs of Zachary; his grandchildren, Brandon, Rachel, Hollie, Ryan Peairs, Christina Bays and Travis Hebert; his great grandchildren, Tyler Peairs, Austin Peairs and Isabella Peairs; and his brothers, Larry Joe Peairs and Darryl Wayne Peairs. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
