He was predeceased by: his parents, Donald DeWitt Hunt Sr. and Shirley Claire Hunt; his in-law Clara Dodson; his sister Da'Anne Lipscomb (Jim); his brother-in-law Mickey Dodson; his niece Jennifer Hunt; and his nephew McDavid.
He is survived by: his wife Darlene Dodson Hunt; and his siblings, Don Hunt (Rosalyn), Jeff Hunt (Sherlyn), Ginger Kent (Mike), Stacy Denicola (Mike), Brad Hunt (Kathy) and Tara Jones (Matt).
Visitation was held on Thursday, March 20th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the St. John the Baptist Catholic Church (4826 Main St, Zachary, LA 70791). A funeral service was held on Thursday, March 20th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made in his honor to support cancer research at St. Jude's Research Hospital.
