It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Scott Lee Hornsby (Zachary, Louisiana), who passed away on April 16, 2025, at the age of 77, leaving to mourn family and friends. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Scott Lee Hornsby to pay them a last tribute.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Sydney Hornsby and Williamette Hornsby; his brothers, Billy Hornsby and Brent Hornsby; his sister-in-law Charlene Hornsby; and his daughter-in-law Stacey Henegan Hornsby.

He is survived by: his wife Merriann Hornsby; his children, Mary Jane Hornsby-Kinchen (Todd) of Baton Rouge, Buck Hornsby of Bluff Creek and Starr Hornsby (Kristi) of Zachary; his sister Suzanne Hobgood; his sister-in-law Ginny Hornsby; his brothers, Frank Hornsby and Butch Hornsby; his grandchildren, Bailey, Reiley, Bucky, Hudson, Lauren, Chapman, Julia, Hattie, Olivia and Stella; and his great grandchildren, Scotty, T'Beau, Lynnon, Navy and Shilo.

Visitation was held on Tuesday, April 22nd 2025 from 9:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Bethany Church North Campus (13855 Plank Rd, Baker, LA 70714). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, April 22nd 2025 at 12:00 PM at the same location.

Donations may be made in his memory to Fellowship Church Zachary.
