She was predeceased by: her husband Edward W. "Buddy" Dayton, Jr.; her son Edward W. "Dub" Dayton III; her parents, Earle Bennett and Gladys Bennett; and her brothers, Felix and Wayne Bennett.
She is survived by: her children, Delynn Vines of West Monroe, Dianne Fletcher (Steve) of Zachary, Donna Zabel (Richard) and David Dayton (Tamara) of Zachary. She is also survived by eleven grandchildren and 18 great grandchildren and numerous nieces, nephews.
