He was predeceased by: his parents, Jimmie Firmin and Dorothy Firmin; his brothers, Ronnie Firmin and Jimmie Firmin, Jr.; his brother-in-law Phillip Bourgeois, Sr. (Flip); his nephew Jim Firmin; and his grandson Ronnie Firmin.
He is survived by: his children, Roy Firmin, Jr. (Brigitte) of Pride and Fran Firmin (Jamie Raney) of Zachary; his grandchildren, Randi Lori (Danny) of Slaughter, Samantha Holmes (Dustin) of Pride, Chad Pierce (Skyler Felter) of Central, Justin Firmin (Meagan Redd) of Denham Springs and Megan Fleming (Kramer Pickett) of Zachary; and his sisters, Barbara Bourgeois (Bobbie) of Slaughter and JoAnn Ilgenfritz of Baker. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
