He was predeceased by: his significant other Helen Reech Desselle; his parents, Ernest Lynn Desselle and Esla Lemoine Desselle; and his siblings, Janell Michel, Esla Mae "Nancy" Cosper, Lynn "Sonny" Desselle and Eugenia Mae Desselle.
He is survived by: his children, Glen Desselle (Kelly) and Karen Wesson (Darian); his grandchildren, Jessica Neal (Michael), Ashton Hayes (James), Anthony Desselle (Heather) and Kristen Avocato (Sean); and his siblings, Ernest Desselle Jr., Jules Desselle, Philip Desselle (Peggy), John Desselle (Denise) and Doris Clouatre (Milton). He is also survived by 10 great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, February 22nd 2025 from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the St. John the Baptist Catholic Church (4826 Main St, Zachary, LA 70791). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, February 22nd 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
