Melvin Easterly Jr. Obituary

It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Melvin Easterly Jr. (Zachary, Louisiana), who passed away on January 12, 2025, at the age of 68, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his father Melvin M. Easterly Sr.; his brother Levy Scott Easterly; and his grandson Jason D. Rexroad. He is survived by: his mother Irma Sue Reily Easterly; his sister Terri Jo Easterly (Veronica "Roni" Easterly); his children, Rusty Rexroad (Sandra Rexroad) and Beth R. Martin (Joe Martin); his grandchildren, Seth Martin, Tristen Martin, Kamron Brunson, Jordan Rexroad and Aurora "Bean" Martin; his great grandchild Scarlett Martin; and his great-niece Emma Grace Walters.

Visitation was held on Sunday, January 19th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM and on Monday, January 20th 2025 from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM. A funeral service was held on Monday, January 20th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Wilson First Baptist Church (6303 Bay St, Wilson, LA 70789).
