He was predeceased by: his parents, Willard Hinton and Dorothy Hinton; his brother Willard S. Hinton, Sr.; and his grandparents, Vann, Pheriba Hinton, Herbert and Iola Murray.
He is survived by: his brothers, Franklin Hinton, Sr. (Debra), Lionel Hinton and Ronald Hinton (Pearl); and his sister-in-law Ethel Hinton.
A funeral service was held on Saturday, November 23rd 2024 at 11:00 AM at the Greater Greene Chapel (1232 N 32nd St, Baton Rouge, LA 70802). A burial was held on Tuesday, November 26th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the Louisiana National Cemetery (303 W Mt Pleasant Zachary Rd, Zachary, LA 70791).
