She was predeceased by: her parents, Joe Young and Lucille Young; her stepson Jeffrey Bercegeay; her sister Cynthia Venable; and her husband Norman Joseph Bercegeay.
She is survived by: her daughter Elena Coffman (Dale Coffman); her stepdaughter Shantel Braud (Dwight "Doddy" Braud); her son Douglas LaFargue (Rachel); and her sisters, Virginia Robertson (Louis) and Nancy Greig (Danny). She is also survived by twelve grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
