He was predeceased by: his parents, Elex Cornelius and Pearl Cornelius; his brothers, Jim Cornelius and Harry Cornelius; and his son Kenneth Waldon "Wally" Cornelius.
He is survived by: his wife Doris Kent Cornelius; his daughters, Jackie Hughes (Don) of Slaughter and Connie Anderson (Bart) of Centreville, MS; his daughter-in-law Cathy Cornelius of Slaughter; his grandchildren, Ashley Hughes Morris, Bradley Hughes, Justin Cornelius, Cody Anderson and Bridget Anderson Zuccaro; and his great grandchildren, Kent, Madison, Avery, Gabrielle Morris, Kennedy, Karsyn Hughes, Kate, Wyatt Cornelius, Emma Grace, Harper Anderson, Abigail, Levi and Jase Zuccaro.
