She was predeceased by: her father Kenneth Smith; her husband Kevin Thornton; her children, Heather (Brandon Young) and Kenneth; her mother Jo Taylor Cantley; her stepfather Denzil Cantley; her son Brent Thornton; and her daughter-in-law Sandy Thornton.
She is survived by: her grandchildren, Kieran, Garrett, Elena Thornton and Erica Young; her sister Jacquita Coulter (Cliff); and her pets, Mike and Miss Kitty. She is also survived by her family and her many friends.
