He is survived by: his wife Marveline Ferguson Gurney; his sister-in-law Willa Dean Gurney; his sons, Randy (Pam Gurney) and John (Emily Gurney); his stepson Danny Carter; his stepdaughter-in-law Carol Carter (Bueche); his grandchildren, Beverly Tschoepe (Eric), Randall Gurney (Brittany), Doug Gurney (Amber), Katie Newsom (Doug), Shannon Carter and Charlie Teal; his great grandchildren, Autumn, John, Leah, Kyler Gurney, Mason, Colin, Kellyn Newsom, Elizabeth and Annabeth Fancher; and also, Larry, Jewel Gurney, Kenneth, Sandra Gurney, Lisa (Gurney) and Randall Teal.
