He was predeceased by: his parents, Henry Carroll and Ruby Carroll. He is survived by: his wife Christine Carroll; his children, Greg Carroll and Christy Solar; his son-in-law Mike Solar; his grandchildren, Bailey Carroll Shovan (Zach Shovan), Claire Solar, James Michael Wade Solar and Chloe Solar; his great grandchild Corbin Shovan; and his siblings, Frances Carlisle, Eddie Joe Carroll, Kathleen Reeves, Nell Mooney, Faye Wallace, Betty Roberts, Mike, Jeff, Robert, Sammy, Jimmy and Tommy Carroll.

Visitation was held on Thursday, December 26th 2024 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Friday, December 27th 2024 from 9:00 AM to 12:00 PM. A funeral service was held on Friday, December 27th 2024 at 12:00 PM at the Miracle Place Church (2080 Main St, Baker, LA 70714).
