He was predeceased by: his brother Curtis Butler (Betty); his parents, William Samuel and Tiny Pearl Butler; his son Robert Hilton "Bubba" Butler, Jr.; his son-in-law Jerry Evans; his grandson Joseph Varner; and his great grandchild William Bransley Butler.
He is survived by: his wife Omah Borden Butler; his daughters, Brenda Priddy (Jim), Sue Evans and Patti Varner (Kendal); his daughter-in-law Cydney Lee Butler; his grandchildren, Amy Priddy, Sam Priddy (Jaimie), Robbie Peavy, Jim Peavy (Trudy), Jeremy Evans (Heather), Chad Butler (Melissa), Trampus Butler (Angela), Cody Butler (Mandi), Savannah Pacobit (Matthew), Lindsey Dooley and Lyndsay Varner; and his great grandchildren, Jaylan, Austin Priddy, Taylor McGrath (John), Tyler (Amber), Tara Beth, Blanche, Aubree, Rhett Hilton Butler, Dax Doyle, Zayn, Blaze, Harley Peavy, Savannah, Ariana Rioux, Paige Boudreau, Bryce, Justin Thomas, Morgan Sparks, Skylar, Raine Minor and Grayson Pacobit.
