He was predeceased by: his wife Edith Maria Dixon; and his mother Allie Lee Whitaker Dixon. He is survived by: his daughters, Linda Susann Tippett Picard (Larry) and Carol Jean Dixon Guarnieri (John); his grandchildren, Matthew W. Tippett, Kenleigh Almeida (Carlos) and Nick Tippett (Lindsay); and his great grandchildren, Charleigh, Camille, Winrie and Wesley.
