She was predeceased by: her father Andrew Alfred Murray; her grandfather Herbert S. Murray; her husband Moses A. Simms, Sr.; her grandmother Iola Murray; her mother Hattie Howard Robinson; her siblings, Margaret Alvina Wallace, Charles Murray and Edward Robinson; and her grandchildren, Shankel Gladden and Gabrielle Simms.
She is survived by: her children, Rev. George Simms, Sr. (Elaria) of Mason, OH, Rev. Mary Simms Guy (Lloyd) of Zachary, LA, Mosetta Simms Ellis (Kelvin) of San Diego, CA, Rev. Andrew Simms (Margaret) and Moses A. Simms, Jr. (Karen) of Zachary, LA.. She is also survived by 22 grandchildren, 34 great grandchildren, and 2 great-great grandchildren.
